I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds. Psalm 77:11-12, NIV

When we face trials, it is helpful to look back at the times when God has shown his power and faithfulness in our lives and throughout history. The psalmist's resolve to remember God's deeds is a powerful reminder that we have a history with God, filled with moments where he has come through for us, answered prayers, and displayed his love and provision.

Remembering God's past faithfulness not only strengthens our faith but also reassures us that he is the same God who walked with his people in the past and continues to walk with us today. Just as he performed miracles and provided for his people in the past, he remains capable of working wonders in our lives and providing for our needs in the present.

Reading the Bible and meditating on God's work helps us shift our focus from our circumstances to his greatness. It redirects our thoughts from worry and doubt to trust and confidence in his power. As we reflect on his mighty deeds, we are reminded of his sovereignty, wisdom, and love. It deepens our understanding of his character and builds our faith in his ability to work all things together for our good.

Today, let us reflect on God's faithfulness. Remember the times in your own life where God has answered your prayers. May these reflections bring us comfort, ignite gratitude in our hearts, and strengthen our trust in him for the present and future.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, as we meditate on your mighty deeds, fill our hearts with gratitude and strengthen our faith. We believe that you are the same God who walks with us today and will continue to guide and provide for us in the future. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
