But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:33-34, NIV

Trusting in God can be hard, especially when we face challenges and uncertainties. It's easy to get caught up in worrying about the future and trying to control every aspect of our lives. But in this verse, Jesus reminds us that when we seek first God's kingdom and righteousness, all our needs will be taken care of.

Just like the flowers in the field and the birds in the sky, we can trust that God will provide for us each day. We don't have to worry about the future because God is already there, preparing the way for us.

But seeking God's kingdom and righteousness requires us to surrender our will to his. It means putting aside our own desires and seeking to do his will above all else. This can be difficult, but it's worth it. When we align ourselves with God's plan, we can trust that he will lead us to where we need to be.

So today, let's make a conscious effort to seek God's kingdom and righteousness first in our lives. Let's put aside our worries and trust that he will provide for us. Let's ask him to guide us and give us the strength to follow his will, even when it's hard.

Prayer: Dear God, help us to trust in your plan for our lives. Give us the courage to seek your kingdom and righteousness first, and to trust that you will provide for all our needs. Help us to let go of our worries and surrender our will to yours. Guide us and give us the strength to follow your will, even when it's hard. Amen.
